Description and Requirements
Position Summary
The team provides engineering and infrastructure support for .NET based applications. We build infrastucture for .NET based applications on windows, we use mainly use IIS and Apache webservers to securely serve web page. We develop automation scripts to automate repetitive tasks using Ansible tool and create scripts for server management using PowerShell.

• Take leadership in handling migrations, contact application partners, understand requirement, and build infrastructure.
• Plan application interconnections, database connectivity and website domain creation.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagram and make application ready for operational support and handover.
• Install/update required software/drivers on servers.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce human errors.
• Develop and maintain AzDo pipelines using YAML.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and mitigate issues.
• Proficiency in scription language like PowerShell

Job Responsibilities
Job Resp onsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and maintaining, migrating IIS and Apache webservers in MetLife infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to windows server environment.
• Basic Linux server administration knowledge is needed.
• Utilize Ansible to automate repetitive tasks and streamline system management.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce human errors.
• Develop and maintain AzDo pipelines using YAML .
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and mitigate issues.
• Proficiency in scripting language like PowerShell.
• Should be able to utilize ServiceNow in Change management, Incident management , Catalog task management , Problem management.
• Excellent Soft skills (Mandatory )
• Excellent Communication skills (Mandatory )
• Excellent E-mail writing skills (Mandatory )
• Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to coordinate cross functionally

Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
Education

• IT Graduate
• Basic IT Infrastructure & I TIL
• Automation & AzDO

Experience
(In Years)

• • Total of 7 years of Experience with atleast 4 years in .Net Infrastructure Administration

• Must process problem solving, planning, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvements

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Windows & Linux Infrastructure Management
• § Thorough knowledge of Ansible Automation Tools
• § Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps
• § Prior experience in SNOW - Change, Incident and Catalogue Task mgmt.
• § Intermediate MS Office skills

Other Critical Requirements Like Voice/ Non-Voice for Insurance Ops

• Preferably ITIL Certified
