Position Requirements: β€’ Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day. Occasional on-duty weekends (calls paid minimum of 2 hours at double time) β€’ Install and anchor new equipment for security purposes. Security, camera, fire alarm and access control installation, integration, networking, programming, service, and inspections principally in the field β€’ Operate a variety of equipment, tools, and machines β€’ Technicians are responsible for day-to-day operations on the job site and include staging and performing daily work and communicating project status to Field Supervisors. β€’ Operate a company vehicle to obtain parts and drive to various locations to perform work. β€’ Perform related duties as assigned. Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations β€’ On-call service rotation as needed β€’ Provide guidance and field training to apprentice technicians. β€’ Ability to lead crews of other installers Initial Qualifications: - Education and Experience: High School or equivalent certification from a college or technical school or completion of a trade school apprenticeship program - Active 06 License with WA Department Labor % Industries - Minimum three (3) years' experience - Washington State Driver’s License and proven good driving record - Reliable transportation is required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Working Conditions: β€’ Methods, materials, tools, and equipment for electrical systems β€’ Applicable laws, codes, rules, and regulations β€’ Follow Appropriate safety precautions and procedures β€’ Record-keeping techniques β€’ Maintain tools and equipment in clean working condition. β€’ Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. β€’ Observe legal and defensive driving practices with a valid driver license β€’ Team player and dependable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour Benefits: β€’ 401(k) β€’ 401(k) matching β€’ Dental insurance β€’ Health insurance β€’ Health savings account β€’ Life insurance β€’ Paid time off β€’ Professional development assistance β€’ Vision insurance Willingness to travel: β€’ 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
