Summary Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is located at the Cliffside RV Park aboard NAS Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must complete I-9 Verification upon hire. Must be at least 18 years at time of application and have and maintain a valid driver's license. May be required to workdays, evenings, weekends, holidays to meet the needs of the program. Subject to premium pay for Sunday, second and third shift, and holiday pay when hours worked are during those times. Outdoor work is performed in all kinds of weather. May be required to wear issued protective gear such as safety gloves, hearing protection, safety glasses, boots, etc. Work indoors may expose the worker to drafts, noise, dust and dirt, and require standing on concrete floors for long periods. Special care is required to avoid serious injuries. Qualifications A qualified candidate possesses the following: Knowledge and skill sufficient to run lawnmowers and use hand buffers, hatchets, saws, hand and other tools requiring the same level of knowledge and skill. Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions. Ability to work safely while moving light to heavy weight objects. Education There is no educational requirement for this position. Additional information Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements.
