This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for Tier 3 - Non-Critical Sensitive (Moderate Risk) security clearance Secret or access for the duration of employment. This position may require the incumbent to travel up to 30 percent of the time. This appointment is subject to completion of a 3 year probation period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements. Basic Requirement for CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT & INTEGRATION SPECIALIST (MEDICAL) DE-0301-3 Specialized Experience: To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as; (1) Collaborate in the drafting of policies and/or procedures for organization programs; (2) Present and/or verify data related to program development ensuring alignment with organizational goals; and (3) Provide updates to stakeholders regarding the project's status and/or milestones. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DB-02 (GS-11 equivalent). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the minimum qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional information This position is in the BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY CAREER PATH, Pay Band III, Category I. Pay Band III Category 1 (CAT 1) includes GS-12, step 1 through GS-13, step 10. This appointment is covered by a Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project.
