Summary This position is located at USAG Benelux, Music and Theater, Shape, Belgium. This announcement has been extended until 31 December 2025, with an initial cut off of 10 November. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Assisting with costuming, make-up, clerical and administrative functions necessary for the operation of the center, to include record keeping, inventory of supplies, and recommending ordering of depleted or other necessary supplies. Performing first level maintenance on all equipment to ensure that it is in operable condition. Identifying inoperable equipment and advising the supervisor of those needing higher level repair. Assisting in the construction of sets and scenery for varying productions, procurement of supplies and materials needed, and the operation of light and sounds systems for these productions. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts to include nights, weekends and holidays. Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation to include childcare checks. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Three (3) months of prior experience participating in variety shows, bands and plays. Experience to include: Construction of sets and scenery. Operation of light and stage sound systems for productions. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess at least one (1) year experience with construction of sets and scenery. Possess at least one (1) year experience with lighting and stage sound systems. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information Area of Consideration This job is open to candidates who are US Citizens currently residing within the commuting area of SHAPE, Belgium (not ordinarily resident in Belgium). US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than Belgium. Non-US Nationals must have resided in the US or US Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
