trauma surgeon with our team at Southern Illinois Healthcare Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL
(100 mi southeast of St. Louis, MO) you will contribute to patient success in the operating room and
through clinic follow-ups.
You take care of patients; this is how we take care of
you!
Predictable work schedule, 122 24-hr shifts per year (10-11 per month). Your full team
consists of three full-time experienced physicians and two full-time APPs.
No call expectations on
days off (when you are scheduled to be on, you’re on, but when you are off, you’re OFF!)
Malpractice
& tail coverage provided at no cost to you, and no non-compete clause hanging over your
future
Annual CME allowance of $2500, competitive compensation, plus robust benefits including
health/dental/vision and 401k
No billing or coding – you are trained to care for patients, our
operations team is trained to take of the paperwork
What you bring
Illinois medical license (or
ability to obtain one upon hire)
Orthopedic Trauma Board Certification preferred
5 or more years of
experience in an ACS verified trauma program
Ability to provide ortho and ACS services
Strong
communication skills combined with high patient satisfaction scores and a desire to work in a
collaborative environment
