**APP Pediatric Opening in North Carolina** Primary locations in Ahoskie, Edenton, Roanoke Rapids, and Greenville North Carolina Tidewater, VA 157m Seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join their regional newborn hospitalist team. * Experience Required - physician assistants should have at least 2 years of NICU experience. * Employed * Schedule includes 24/7 unrestricted call (1 week on/1 week off) at Hospital and 36-hour of on-site coverage per month at Childrens Hospital (72-bed Level IV NICU) * Clinical responsibilities when providing coverage at Roanoke will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed * Provider will return to Children Hospital monthly for continued competency and skills maintenance with the newborn and NICU teams * Transfer support provided by Medical Center * PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required * Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits to include: Administrative Stipend, Relocation, PTO, Malpractice/Tail Coverage, 401k matching/457, Medical, Dental & Vision, Disability & Life Insurance * Close proximity to NC and VA beaches **Job Requirements include:** * Experienced PNP-AC, NNP or Physician Assistant- At least 2 years of NICU Experience * NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant * National Board Certification as a Pediatric NP-AC, Neonatal NP or as PA required, including maintenance * 2+ years of experience in health care setting Ahoskie affords residents the comforts of small town living within close proximity to the beautiful waterways of North Carolina and Virginia.
