1st Shift Machine Operator

Description: Machine Operatorwill verify that the machines are set up properly, will perform quality checks and keep detailed documents for Quality control. Will change over equipment, clean work area and check downstream equipment for any issues. Duties and Responsibilities: • Follow daily schedule. • Check for: • Neck Dimension checks once per shift • Material Distribution checks once per shift • Drop test performed every 2 hours following drop test procedure. Operator will be required to perform the mechanical and GMP duties • General Housekeeping • Continuously looking for ways to improve our current processes • Troubleshoot Packaging equipment in a timely manner · Cleaning blowmolder, grinder and grinding room · Notify Shift Supervisor of any machine related issues Requirements: • Relevant experience as a Machine Operator – Basic mechanical skills & aptitude • Knowledge of 5S Practices • Must be able to climb stairs, sit and stand for long periods; type for long periods of time.
