Who are we?

IEQ Capital is a Registered Investment Advisor seeking to transform traditional wealth management. Our quest is to integrate the Intellectual and Emotional Quotient, generating exceptional investment results driven by a values-oriented culture that fosters connection and collaboration with our clients. We are an independent, predominantly employee-owned company, adhering to the fiduciary standard to put our clients' interests first. We focus our efforts on helping clients meet their investment objectives without the distractions and limitations that can arise within much larger organizations.

The Role

We are looking for highly motivated and hardworking individuals to join our growing team. If you want to make an impact on a business, this is the place to be. We operate as a meritocracy and incentivize leadership, initiative and “out-of-the-box” thinking, as well as a “no-task-is-too-small” work mentality.

As a summer intern, you are exposed to all sides of our business: portfolio management, business development, alternative investments and operations. Tasks and projects will be provided to you by all members of the team (Associates to CEOs), which can have a lasting impact on the business. Interns will also have the opportunity to sit in on client meetings and client calls to see the CEOs and Partners in action.

Interns must be able to thrive in a non-structured, fast-paced environment, be able to push tasks to the finish line with high quality of work, work with little direction, be professional and have a high level of integrity as you deal with client related items.

The internship is what you make it; if you learn quickly, can build trust, foster relationships and give great quality of work, you will gain experience you could not get anywhere else.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising Senior with a minimum of 3.2 GPA
• True desire to work in the financial services industry
• Candidate must have a no-task-is-too-small-mentality
• Be able to prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects
• Previous Wealth Management or financial services internships is a plus
• Economics major is a plus
