Positions are offered in Raleigh, NC (Research Triangle Park), and New York, NY. Your Role and Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Leverage data and benchmarking insights to support sourcing decisions.
• Procurement Knowledge: Possess broad knowledge across Procurement, with a holistic understanding of the role and its context within the organization.
• Functional Understanding: Have a comprehensive understanding of all functional elements of Procurement, without specializing in one area.
• Sourcing Techniques: Apply key skills around sourcing techniques to achieve cost-effective and high-quality supply.
• Supplier Benchmarking: Conduct supplier benchmarking to identify best practices and optimize sourcing activities.
• Demand Understanding: Understand demand and provide cost-effective and high-quality supply in line with stakeholder expectations.
• Documentation: Document sourcing activities in a structured and auditable way throughout the sourcing process.
• Support Significant Spending Decisions: Provide critical support for significant spending decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sourcing processes and outcomes.
• Support Global Procurement organization, responsible for supporting internal and/or external clients
• Act in compliance with all relevant IBM business conduct guidelines and client-driven procurement processes
