• You're a motivated rising senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas listed below from an accredited college or university:
  
  
  • Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Business Technology Management, Information Technology, Information Science
• This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It's a full-time, 10-week commitment from May 28, 2025, through August 1, 2025.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 28, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.

Internship responsibilities may include:

• Candidate will take fully formed business requirements from our business and work with our architects to develop solutions for sending automated Email/SMS/Autocall messages to our customers.
• Candidate will work directly with our platform architects to develop the solutions to the business requirements.
• Candidate will also work directly with outside teams who are responsible for forming and sending us the data payloads used to pass into the templating language of our communications.
• Candidate will develop the documentation that will be utilized by out platform development, QA, and front end developers for them to do their work.

Here's what it takes to get started

Required qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2025 - May 2026
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Preferred qualifications

• Understand API calls for real time data requests
• Understand SFTP file structures for non-time sensitive data requests
• Understand KAFKA feeds Understand relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
• Experience writing HTML Understand processes with Analysis of Technical requirements
• Experience writing Technical requirements preferred
• Understand highly technical concepts as it relates to data transport technologies
• Possess a keen sense of urgency and escalates to their management to ensure projects they are assigned are not blocked
• Owns and drives their assigned tasks to completion
• Self-starter who will actively seek the knowledge they need rather than wait
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Oral and written skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem solving abilities
• Proficient in Software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
