We are looking to add a nocturnist hospitalist to our team at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. This position offers a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule working the 7p-7a shift with our skilled hospital medicine (HM) team! Key Responsibilities:Provide inpatient care during night shifts, including admissions and cross-coverageCollaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of careManage acute changes in clinical status and respond to medical emergenciesOversee the care of patients in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical units, ICU and telemetryParticipate in hand-offs and ensure thorough communication between day and night teamsServe as a resource for nursing staff and other clinicians during night shiftsQualifications:MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification or eligibility in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage a wide range of complex conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and make sound medical decisionsCommitment to patient safety and quality careInterested in learning more?
