Summary This position is located in the Operations and Strategic Management Section (OSMS), Collaborative Clinical Research Branch (CCRB), Division of Clinical Research (DCR), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). DCR's vision is to facilitate high quality, state-of-the-art NIAID clinical research in the areas of allergic, immunologic, and infectious diseases. Qualifications To qualify for the Clinical Research Specialist GS-601-14, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education Qualification: You must possess a Bachelor's degree, or graduate/higher level degree with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of this position. (This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained). AND Additional Qualifications: In addition, you must have at least one year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: providing operational expertise in the oversight of clinical research, safety oversight issues, and day-to-day research management issues; collaborating with physicians and research staff in the development, review, management, and evaluation of research protocols; directing, overseeing, and evaluating clinical research studies; and establishing procedures to safeguard the quality and integrity of data at clinical sites. You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
