**Trauma Surgeon opening in San Rafael, CA** **20m to San Francisco** **Full Time Position** **The Position** Join a highly regarded community-based practice of general and colorectal surgeons. Full-time position covering 7 trauma shifts per month at Group Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center. 1 outpatient clinic day per week in Larkspur, with an opportunity to split into 2-1/2 days. Hospitalist program in place at Group Medical Center and Hospital. New state-of-the-art hospital and ORs at Group Health Medical Center. Epic electronic health record utilized. **Candidate Qualifications** Board certified or eligible (with intent to become certified within 1 year) in General Surgery. Trauma Surgery fellowship required. Licensed or eligible for licensure in California. Laparoscopic skills required. Robotics a plus. Strong philosophy of excellence in patient care and excellence in the overall patient experience. New graduates encouraged to apply.
