Job Title: Second Grade Teacher Location: Legacy Preparatory - Mesquite West Campus Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Second Grade Teacher to join our team at Legacy Preparatory - Mesquite West Campus. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing the academic and social development of young learners. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that follow the curriculum and meet the educational needs of second-grade students. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and is conducive to learning. • Regularly assess student performance and provide feedback to improve their academic and social growth. • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to optimize student learning experiences. • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities. • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to student safety and well-being. Skills: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Ability to create a stimulating learning environment that motivates students to learn. • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
