Our hospital houses the Mental Health Crisis Unit, an acute psychiatric stabilization facility with a 20-bed capacity. We cater to patients aged between 19 and 68 who are undergoing mental health crises that necessitate inpatient care. Our clientele includes both voluntary admissions and those involuntarily evaluation and treatments ordered by probate courts via the Alabama Department of Mental Health. Our unit provides a spectrum of care services pharmacotherapy, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, delivered by qualified social workers and therapists, appropriate to the demands of an acute care environment. This niche program offers acute care for geriatric patients who display psychiatric symptoms, often in conjunction with medical disorders. With a 30-bed capacity, our center serves patients aged 55 and above in need of intensive and secure treatment surroundings.
