Summary You will serve as an Administrative Specialist responsible for overseeing and ensuring efficiency and continuity of the administrative and operational functions for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare (DCNO), Assistant Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare (ADCNO) and their personal staff. This position is located in Arlington, VA in the DNI/DDNI OPNAV SUPPORT STAFF. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing. You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. This position requires a periodic polygraph examination. This position may require a 2-Year DCIPS trial period requirement. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Manage schedule and calendar creating and managing appointments and correspondence for senior executives; 2) Plan and execute travel requirements, including orders, itineraries, lodging and vouchers; 3) Providing support by researching, analyzing and gathering background information or data from diverse sources to provide solutions to administrative operational problems; 4) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools including, Outlook, Word, PPT, and Excel.
