About the Position: The position service as the senior Assistant SHARP Program Manager emphasizing the commitment to maintain a workplace environment that rejects sexual harassment and sexual assault and attitudes that promote such behaviors.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Tier 3, Secret Clearance.
- Background checks against all records as required by law, OPM, DOD and Army policy and regulation will be conducted, prior to entering on duty in the position IAW governing regulations.
- State Criminal History Repository Check is required
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must complete all required SHARP courses, obtain D_SAACP certification within 6 months of appointment
- May require 25% TDY
- Required to self-report civilian arrests, the filing of criminal charges and/or convictions of any offenses to their supervisors.
- Must maintain an active D-SAACP certification and up-to-date commander appointment orders prior to having any victim contact or access to victim information.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the Experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Provide assistance in the implementation of a Sexual Harassment/ Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program sufficient to maintain a workplace environment that rejects sexual harassment/sexual assault; conduct program evaluation and assessment to ensure compliance and recommend improvements; communicate both orally and in writing to respond to congressional requests, prepare advisory materials, and present findings related to program management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
