Job Description
Summary
This position is located within the Community Activity Center (CAC), Recreation Division located at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area - Camp Parks, CA.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Announcement will have a first cutoff date of October 09, 2025, and applicants that submit a complete application packet prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration.
Duties
Provides information and general instructions to patrons in use of facility and ensures satisfactory service. Receives and resolves customer complaints.
Issues equipment, provides safety instruction, demonstrates new equipment, and teaches classes.
Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
You may be scheduled to work various shifts within the hours of 0800-2100 Monday-Saturday and 0800-1700 Sunday. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required based on mission needs and in support of special events.

Work experience which involved dealing with the general public.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay are not authorized.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
