3D Visualization Designer

We are currently seeking a highly organized, proactive and energetic Architectural Project Manager to join our team of architects, designers, engineers, machinists and software developers at our headquarters in Los Angeles. 

3D Visualization Designer 

Every day you will use your creative skill to imagine new buildings (interior + exterior), integrations, product models, and conceptual spaces, and bring them to life in 3D, and find new ways to communicate the thoughtful design of Arktura’s products to the world. Your mission is to showcase the simple versatility and refinement Arktura’s products afford designers and installers. 

Main Job Responsibilities: 

• Create 3D architectural building and interior models for rendering that showcase products in the best light possible 
• Adjust scenes and product layouts to create new configurations and highlight various use cases

• Prep of model geometry, textures, and lighting for different formats and applications 
• Drive art direction of own spaces and provide and receive constructive criticism from teammates 
• Create presentation material for research and design 
• Support product design process, 3D animation, and diagramming for collateral as needed 
• Monitor and develop the ability to review own work for accuracy and completeness 

• Work within established standards, procedures and techniques, and work with team to improve and optimize these 
• Output renderings as required through methods including render farms, and own postproduction optimization via Photoshop 
• Manage assigned tasks and priorities in ClickUp to keep projects on track 
• Work under direction of 3D Visualization & Video Production Lead, Marketing Director, Brand Manager, & Video Production Manager in a collaborative setting 

Education, Skills & Requirements: 

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design with 2-3 years experience with 3D modeling and preparing graphic presentations in an architectural office or production environment 
• Extensive experience in 3ds Max, experience with or desire to learn Rhino 3D. Strong 3D modeling ability in polygons, knowledge of nurbs a plus 
• Experience in Sketchup, Unreal Engine, and animation a major plus 
• Must have a good eye for interior design. Strong graphic design and visual layout sensibility. Need to demonstrate ability to be independently creative.

• Must have great written and speaking English communication skills. 
• Detailed and organized with ability to multi-task 
• Ambitious character with positive attitude and ability to work independently 
• Desire to grow with company and take on additional responsibility 
• Portfolio, website or sample work required for consideration

The estimated base salary range for this role is $67,500.00-$74,500.00 a year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.
