Summary This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T5543000 and is part of the G2 located in Draper UT, with the Utah Army National Guard. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance of the position. This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial vehicles to perform temporary duty assignments This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG. Potential for incentive pay. Position may be telework eligible after completion of probationary period based on the needs of the organization. Attend the ARNG Security Manager Course within 12 months of hire. Obtain the Security Professional Certification(s) within 24 months of hire. Qualifications *Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position. **Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit. Minimum Requirements: Have experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. Must have TS-SCI security clearance. Specialized Experience: Have a least 1 year as a GS-0132-11? Must submit SF 50 to validate. OR Experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others. Experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports. Supervisory Specialized Experience: Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
