Description Specialization:NeurosurgeryJob Summary:HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is looking for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their esteemed neurosurgery team within a well-established program.Qualified Candidates: Be part of a skilled neuroscience team that includes 4 neurosurgeons, 4 advanced practice providers (APPs), 2 neurointerventionalists, and 2 neurohospitalists.Open to both experienced providers and new graduates.Hospital Duties: Manage a busy neurosurgery service.Participate in 2-3 operative days per week, with a mix of 50% cranial and 50% spine cases.Perform bedside neuro-ICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures. Outpatient Clinic: Engage in 2 days per week of outpatient clinic work. Shared call responsibilities.Enjoy a high level of autonomy and the chance to work on a wide range of neurosurgical cases and procedures.Contribute to a large multidisciplinary team in a comprehensive stroke center and Level 1 trauma center, supported by an excellent neuro-ICU, neuro-step down unit, and neuro floor.
