Summary This Title 5 National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT), Position Description Number T5906000and is part of the NJ 177th CMN FT, National Guard. Duties As a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT), GS-2210-11, you will: Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures to isolate source of problems Assist in solving problems associated with delivery of hardware and software orders Provide customer technical assistance and support for all users Identify and document system requirements for specific needs of customers Manage system user accounts, reset system passwords, and resolve firewall issues Work with technical support personnel in resolving problems Requirements Conditions of employment NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: US Citizens NOTE: If the individual selected is currently on a Title 10 or Title 32 tour no action can be taken until he/she is released from tour FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. May be required to successfully complete a probationary period Participation in direct deposit is mandatory SECURITY CLEARANCE: Selectee has one (1) year of employment to obtain an Active Secret Security Clearance.
