Summary Join the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) to lead the development and execution of strategy, policy, processes, technology systems, data science, and employee and customer experience to enable OIT to attract, recruit, develop, and retain a highly qualified, world class workforce. As an IT Specialist in OIT, you will have the opportunity to enhance the capabilities and skills of VA's tech and cybersecurity workforce to deliver quality IT services to Veterans and their families. You may qualify based on your experience as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-14 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Experience advising senior management on planning and analysis, policy development, organizational stewardship, regulatory compliance, and Federal budgeting. Experience with the coordination of strategic planning; program performance evaluation and the assessment of organizational efficiency and effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods. Experience assessing complex management processes and systems, facilitating analysis of program operations; and the experience supporting diverse management functions which require broad expertise and coordination across multiple program lines within a large organization for Information Technology programs.
