A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. Must meet physical requirements of the position. A physical examination is required for this position. Must be able to work a schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and possible holidays. Qualifications 1. Must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade and to keep the assigned work area neat and clean. 2. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. A bonus up to the amount of $1,000 is authorized. Regular Part-Time or Full-Time positions are eligible for a $1,000 cash incentive that will be paid out after six (6) months of employment with an average of 20 hours worked per week. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
