Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist responsible for planning, integrating, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions required to support the Navy Cyber Warfare Development Group. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66. Obtaining certification within the allotted grace period and maintaining CLPs before and after achieving certification are conditions of employment. This is an acquisition coded position categorized as Life Cycle Logistics at the acquisition certification tier Foundational level. Obtaining and maintain this functional area certification and continuous learning is a condition of employment. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Plans and coordinates the day-to-day acquisition logistics activities/functions for assigned program, including the total logistics life-cycle; 2. Uses advanced knowledge of acquisition processes, logistics processes, disposal processes, property administrative procedures, regulations, directives, security and training instructions, and correspondence procedures in order to formulate and implement policy on administrative functions; 3. Utilizes the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) process to assure the most effective and economical means are considered and planned for during all stages of life cycle logistics support; 4. Provides technical advice and guidance on procurement.
