Practices is seeking a congenital heart surgeon to join their team in rapidly growing program in San
Antonio, Texas. The appointee will be a critical member of the congenital heart surgery service and
will be expected to work closely with the Chief of Congenital Cardiac Surgery. Â Preference will be
given to individuals who bring unique skills, interests or qualifications to the team in a
complementary fashion.Our program in part of an international consortium of congenital cardiac
centers within HCA Healthcare with sites in Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, and London,
UK.Qualifications:
ABTS certification in cardiothoracic surgery and congenital heart surgery or
equivalent2+ years of experience with ability to operate independentlyRequisite experience in all
aspects of congenital cardiac surgery with interest in adult congenital and transplantation
preferred.Interest in clinical outcomes researchDemonstrated exceptional surgical and interpersonal
skills and proven success working in a multidisciplinary collaborative
environment.
