Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to University Inn. This is a Regular Part-Time position guaranteed 20 hours per week. As a RPT employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and benefits, to include Health/Dental, Life Insurance, Federal Long-Term Care Insurance, Employer Matching 401K and NAF Retirement. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license. This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Requires ability to plan, schedule and direct the work operations of subordinates and a basic knowledge of administrative and personnel management procedures. Ability to supervise is requires as demonstrated by experience as a supervisor or by project management assignments. Must have the ability to complete a variety of reports and track requirements and completions. Requires knowledge and experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting trades. Requires knowledge and skill in the use of job related hand tools and machines. Mush be able to communicate effectively in the English language; i.e., read, write, and speak. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. May be required to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds and heavier with assistance and perform frequent bending, lifting, and have good manipulative dexterity of fingers, bands, and arms. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
