StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a large physician owned and operated Trauma Surgery group to assist them with the recruitment of a Trauma Medical Director to join their team at a facility in the Denver metroplex. Perks and Benefits: Competitive compensation with shift rate and medical director stipend Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance) 401k retirement plan CME allowance of $5,000 annually Malpractice insurance Physician owned and operated practice Practice Highlights / Qualifications: Must be board eligible or board certified in General Surgery Must be Fellowship trained in Trauma / Surgical Critical Care Level 2 State Verified Trauma center with ACS certification in process 2,200 Trauma admissions annually Trauma surgery and acute care surgery Opportunity to teach and work with General Surgery Residents The facility you will cover is a 157-bed hospital that has been serving the community for nearly 40 years. It provides a wealth of healthcare services to the area’s growing population, including the only Level II Trauma Center in the County. In addition to 24/7 emergency services, the hospital offers advanced cardiac care, a birth center, neonatal intensive care and a nationally-certified breast center. It also continues to be recognized for quality care, including receiving straight As from the Lown Institute Hospitals Index and several five-star awards from Healthgrades.
