This position is located in Federal Student Aid, Technology Directorate Front Office in Washington DC, and is responsible for providing leadership in the evaluation, assessment, improvement and optimization of programs and management systems.

TELEWORK ELIGIBILITY:
You may be eligible for occasional telework in which you are required to report to the office on a regular basis. Participation must be requested and approved by the supervisor and there must be a signed telework agreement. The number of telework days approved is determined by the agency policy, emergency situations, the approval of your immediate supervisor. You must have access to high speed internet and cell phone service meeting current Agency policy from the approved work location.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-15, if you possess the specialize experience.
Specialized Experience for the GS-15
One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-14 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:
1.Experience in IT product development, providing leadership to product teams.
2.Experience in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders towards to launch of new IT products and services.
3.Experience in developing, monitoring, evaluating, and presenting progress towards meeting strategic goals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). You do not need to provide separate narrative responses to these KSAs, as they will be measured by your responses to the occupational questionnaire (you may preview the occupational questionnaire by clicking the link at the end of the Evaluations section of this vacancy announcement).
1. Ability to cast a strategic vision for FSA/s products and services that align with the FSA strategic goals.
2. Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
3. Knowledge of the principles, methods, tools and techniques that use object-oriented language. analysis, and design methodologies.
4. Ability to position the organization for future success by identifying new opportunities.
5. Ability to lead a team and build collaboration across a large organization to accomplish strategic goals.
