Lead Medical Records Technician (Office Automation)

Specialized Experience: One year of experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal Service with work that demonstrates experience with HIPAA law and state privacy laws, and local directives pertaining to the release of health care information and disposition of medical records; managing workload distribution and assignments; maintaining medical records in accordance with regulations utilizing terminal digit filing system, preparation of correspondence and summaries of medical records for external and internal requests; and audits medical records documentation for accuracy and completeness.
