Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SOCIAL WORKER (Title 5), Position Description Number T5013000 and is part of the OK JFHQ, Oklahoma Army National Guard.

Requirements
Conditions of Employment
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
A Master's in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is required. Substitute degrees will not be accepted.
Selective Placement Factor: Possess a current, unrestricted State license to practice clinical social work independently.
Must have 24 months of experience in clinical social work assignments. For ANG candidates, completion of the Air Force Social WorkInternship Program may be substituted for 12 months of the specialized experience requirement.
The incumbent of this position description must have, at a minimum, a completed National Agency Check (NAC) prior to position assignment.
This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration.
This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year equivalent to at least GS-11 experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled? To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Education
Must possess a Master's Degree in Psychology or Mental Health Counseling by an accredited University
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
