Check out this Acute Care Surgicalist Position in the South Central US, Enjoy the flexibility of a 7 on/7off or 14 on/14 off schedule at this state-of-the-art surgical wing that has recently undergone a $7 million expansion featuring 5 Da Vinci Robots. This 400-bed hospital is a little more than an hour from a major international airport. Compensation of at least $500K per year for full time.  Employed (Perm) inpatient surgicalist model (all shift work, no additional call).  14 days a month (flexible), 24 hour shifts.  Board-eligible or board-certified general surgeon.   Experience is preferred but not required.  Rounding on patients and managing inpatient consults.  Covering emergent, acute care surgeries.  Active hospitalist and intensivist programs to assist with medical management.  The hospital performs about 10,000 surgical procedures each year.
