The incumbent will be subject to random drug testing. Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance. Employee must meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements, which includes achieving Engineering and Technical Management “Practitioner” certification category within required timeframe after appointment. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft. Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall. Incumbent may be required to report to work during base exercises, contingencies, or emergency situations and overtime/comp time/credit hours may be required to accomplish assigned duties.
