5 Axis CNC Machinist

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a 5 Axis Machinist at O&Y Precision, Inc. The 5 Axis Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines Such as MX-850 And DVF-6500, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks on machined parts, adjusting machine parameters, and ensuring the accurate production of parts within specified tolerances. ONLY SET UP AND OPERATE 5 AXIS. no programming. Qualifications At least 5 years Experience in setting up and operating 5 Axis CNC machines • Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing quality checks • Ability to produce parts within specified tolerances • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of machining various materials such as aluminum, steel, and plastics • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) matching Shift availability: • Day Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Morgan Hill, CA 95037 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Morgan Hill, CA 95037: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
