We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Transplant Surgery team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in a Chief APP role.
To be considered for this role you will need a min. of 7 years of post-graduate experience, including a min, of 2 years in leadership or professional engagement role, and past transplant experience in a high-volume center.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees the lead APP for the inpatient service, would focus on ensuring the highest quality of care and patient experience
- Foster a culture of continuity between the patient experience in the inpatient and outpatient settings
- Work to ensure operational efficiency for providers
- Develop appropriate staffing models to ensure coverage for all organ systems
