Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or National Initial appointment is conditioned upon a satisfactory pre-employment adjudication. This includes fingerprint, credit and tax checks, and drug testing. Continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of a background investigation. You must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable. If selected, you may be required to complete a one year probationary period. You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement. If selected, you will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period unless this requirement has been met previously. Qualifications GS-13: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing budget or financial management work which demonstrates a detailed, intensive knowledge of and skill in applying the policies, precedents, regulations, concepts and processes of budgeting to manage the budget process, including formulation and execution activities, at the district or office level. In-depth knowledge of the budget cycle, including overall agency/company budget processes and requirements and extensive knowledge of the sources and types of funding available. Comprehensive knowledge of and skill in using a financial management information system to enter financial data, track funds and develop reports. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
