Senior Medical Director Role - Primary Care / Managed Care or Value Based - Tulsa, Oklahoma

- Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - M.D. / D.O. Physicians - Fellowship training in Geriatrics and/?or other professional degrees (e.g., M.B.A. etc.) welcome but certainly not required. - Minimum of 5years of experience in outpatient practice. - Minimum of 3years of experience in aphysician management role or role as medical director, managing amedical group of 20 or more providers. - Extensive experience in clinical leadership roles, leading and coaching physicians to be the best they can be for their patients and their colleagues. - Experience with managed care and/?or value-based practice and familiarity with payer-provider collaboration. - Experience using ametrics-driven approach to analyze cost, quality, and satisfaction data to drive clinical strategy and program redesign. - Understand the basics of managed care and recognize that population health and afocus on smart allocation of scarce resources can lead to high value care (better care, lowercost). - Practice primary care in our clinics 21/2days per week alongside his/?her provider colleagues. - The Senior Medical Director will report to the Executive Medical Director for the region. - Competitive salary to be discussed directly with candidates - Paid vacation, sick time, - Investment/?retirement 401K match options - Health insurance, vision, and dental benefits - The Senior Medical Director will be responsible for leading our provider teams in the local market.
