Job Description
Summary
This position is located within the Sports branch of the Business Recreation Division.
This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resilience and well-being of Soldiers and Families.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will NOT be paid.
Duties
Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities.
Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment.
Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments and with publicity of events and tournaments; delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
Must obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within one year of employment.
Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking, and must be able to work in settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist.
Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, to include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. The work schedule will be irregular.
An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required.
Must be willing to accept part-time employment.
Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.

A qualified candidate must possess the ability to:
perform duties such as:
assisting in setting up and publicizing special events and sport tournaments,

assisting customers, AND
obtain and maintain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED within one year of employment.

This job is open to candidates who are U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals that have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation and reside within the Local Commuting Area (defined as 100-mile radius) of Fort Drum, NY.
Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) are included in this area of consideration.

Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Night differential andSunday premium pay has been authorized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Bargaining NF positions only.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
