Summary About the position: This position is located at the 48 FSS Marketing Office on RAF Lakenheath, UK. This position is a Flexible position with 0 hours guaranteed each week. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have knowledge of or experience in providing marketing and publicity principles and practices. Must have experience as a commercial graphic designer, artist, or illustrator, demonstrating the ability to create, design, and lay out copies and artwork. Knowledge of and experience in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, & Illustrator) is required; experience in other layout programs of similar design may be acceptable. Prior experience working on Mac/Apple computers is preferred. Experience using social media, videography, and Wordpress are highly desired. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. Must have experience in customer service. Must have skill in communicating orally and in writing. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
