**Outpatient Primary Care Doctor opening in FL**

Position**
Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Primary Care
Doctor to join our growing private practice in the beautiful waterfront community of Dunedin,

As an Outpatient
Primary Care Doctor, you will have the opportunity to rediscover the joy of practicing medicine in a
primary care setting with a smaller patient panel. Our patient-centric care team approach allows you
to focus on delivering personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate medical care.
**Preferred
Qualifications**
Utilize managed care processes to ensure cost-effective and efficient utilization
of lab, radiology, and extended service providers, including specialists, hospitals, skilled nursing
providers, and other ancillary services.
Complete timely and comprehensive medical documentation in
electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company
standards.
Abstract medical documentation for hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding,
contributing to accurate and comprehensive patient profiles.
These responsibilities highlight the
importance of efficient resource utilization and accurate medical documentation, which are essential
for providing high-quality care and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Ability to
communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health
plans
Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
**Requirements**
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor
of Osteopathy (D.O.)
Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice or Internal
Medicine
Current, unrestricted Florida Medical License
Valid DEA
This position requires Tuberculosis
screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria,
and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a
doctor's diagnosis of disease
Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state
requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as
all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when
applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance
Eligible for medical malpractice insurance
provided by AMG.
Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Greek is a plus.
