In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have or be able to demonstrate progressively responsible work experience that indicates the ability to perform at a strong technical aptitude. Must have formal education (BA/BS degree), preferably with a technical focus, or equivalent experience. Education in a directly related field may be substituted for experience. Applicant must have a previous 3D modeling/CAD experience, understand 3D modeling and printing concepts, and have the ability to work in a diverse and creative work environment. Applicant must have a working knowledge of Adobe CS Software, Solidworks, CAD design and other model editing software. Must have an understanding of 3D print management, various types of 3D printers and printer file nomenclature. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment as an individual and with a team. Must have an understanding of, and the ability to maintain a Local Area Network. Must be able to communicate with customers effectively, give advice, offer assistance, and understand customer needs. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Employment is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Tier 1 background investigation. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
