Summary This position will be assigned to the JBSA Fort Sam Houston Equestrian Center located inSAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. This is a flexible category position with no guaranteed hours, may work up to 40 hrs./week. Scheduled as needed. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position has physical requirement which require the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical. Be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. This position requires the incumbent to have resided in the United States for 3 years and reside in the commuting area of the vacancy location. This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to a pre-employment and random drug testing. Must have a valid driver's license. Qualifying Experience: Must have practical knowledge of equines such as handling, riding and tacking. Familiar with the use of Western/English tack. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: 1. Ability to safeguard and handle cash. 2.
