Summary This position is located at the USAG Humphreys River Bend Golf Course. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties In a golf program, may act as Starter/Marshall, assures tee sheets run on time, assures maximum usage of available tee times by pairing singles and twosomes and threesomes, and assists golfers in need of playing partners. Keeps flow of play moving on the golf course, and assists customers look for lost balls to keep play moving. Assists in pulling up and staging the fleet for play, assists in washing and parking fleet when no longer needed for the day. May assist in picking driving range. Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. Physical exertion is involved in standing, walking, driving vehicles, bending and carrying objects up to 20 pounds. Duties are primarily performed outdoors under varied weather conditions. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). No experience required.
