Summary Supporting the Pacific Beach Facility Assists in performing maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of crafts and trades, i.e., plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical repairs. *Bi-weekly review of applicants beginning November 15, 2024* Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment Valid States Driver's license Possibility of workdays on weekends and holidays, as well as, rotating shifts, often consisting of other than normal duty hours Lifting up to 45 pounds (100 pounds assisted) Travel to other facilities may be required within the normal scope of duties Qualifications Incumbent must have knowledge in general carpentry and painting, and a general working knowledge of the basic shop machines and their safe operating procedures. Must have some practical knowledge of the general trades involve in maintenance work. Must be familiar with basic tools and materials required in making routine repairs to buildings and ground structures.
