Summary This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f. Duties Provides supervision and oversight of a directorate comprised of joint service, civilian and contracting personnel across seven (7) Divisions. Provides oversight that includes direct management of all financial, acquisition, and telecommunication services to support WHCA operations worldwide. Provides input in the formulation of policies and procedures, which implement and assure compliance with federal statutes, and DoD regulations. Ensures contracted products and services are in full compliance with contract requirements and the contracts are being implemented effectively and efficiently. Develops short, medium, and long-range resource management and financial objectives. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a U.S. Citizen. This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination. Drug Testing Position. The incumbent is subject to drug testing upon entry into this position and on a random basis thereafter. This is a covered position and the person selected for this position must complete an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment pursuant to 5 CFR 2634.903(b) (DoD 5500.7). Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. This is a Top Secret/SCI position with Yankee White Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in applying contractual, budgeting and financial management principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, schedule, and performance. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II, minimum). This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.
