Summary This is a full-time position with the Office of Information Technology at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. See: www.sss.gov Qualifications Minimum of four years user support experience as an IT Field Service Technician is required. The candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Hands-on working-level knowledge of technology products, HP computers and peripheral equipment to include printers, scanners, and Apple products (iPads and iPhones); thorough knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 2016/2019 Suite required; working knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred; ability to install new PCs and laptops and update images on a regular basis; working knowledge of Apple iOS a plus. Requires experience performing hardware evaluation, configuration, and installation of new technologies; ability to field requests for assistance, document and respond to trouble calls, and provide hands-on user training. Must have strong verbal communication, written communication, and customer support skills and the ability to understand and communicate technical information, comprehend technical instructions, evaluate problems, and assist users in the use of Workstation equipment. Must have the ability to remain calm and professional in a high pressure environment and be able to interact in a courteous manner with users on short time frames, and meet other pressing or urgent demands. A-Plus Certified and Microsoft Certified Application Professional status are a plus. Education A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
