**OBGYN opening in Maine - visa eligible** * Located in ***Caribou, ME*** - 200m from Bangor, ME * Full time, permanent opening * Employed position * Joining 2 OBGYNs & 2 CNMs * Full-time: 40 - 45 hours/week, including operating room time * Patients: Community profile includes a sizeable population of women for whom gynecological surgical procedures and urodynamic testing are becoming increasingly important. * On-Call Rotation: 1:3 * The leader of deliveries, north of Bangor Maine, with over 200 deliveries annually * High-risk mothers and neonates are referred for delivery to Bangor * The Women's & Children's Health Center is located downstairs, providing inside access within minutes to the labor/delivery/postpartum unit of the hospital * OB unit and team are award-winning and have a well-earned reputation as the warmest, friendliest, and most desirable place to deliver babies north of Bangor * Specialists available include urology, orthopedic and general surgery, and ophthalmology * Access to outpatient clinics including diabetes counseling and nutritional therapy Join a physician practice management organization with 40 physicians and 20 mid-level providers. The health system's Maine locations include Caribou (3 offices), Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield, and Van Buren. In the fall of 2007, the practice was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing enhanced access to health care services for all members of the community, and allowing the practice to employ providers holding H-1B and J-1 visas.
