Locums Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a Locums Hospitalist Physician to provide PRN coverage in Guttenberg, IA. The physician will work shifts of 24, 48, or 72 hours, from 8 AM to 8 AM. Weekend and on-call coverage will be required as needed. The hospital is a 25-bed facility that uses the EPIC EMR system.  The physician will be responsible for managing non-invasive ventilation, including BiPAP and CPAP, ventilation management, intubation (ETT/INT), and inserting chest tubes, central lines, and PICC lines. In addition, the physician must perform minor surgical duties, such as suturing minor lacerations and performing incision and drainage (I&D) procedures in gynecology, orthopedics, and surgery. Requirements:  Board Certified in Family Medicine (Board Eligible within 5 years of residency will also be considered) Active Iowa medical license or IMLC required at the time of submission Certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS are required  Guttenberg is a charming town located along the scenic Mississippi River.
