This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time. Employment is subject to a one-year trial period. Financial Management Certification level 2 (FMC-02) required within 24 months of appointment. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. GS-07 - To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as: work which includes employing organization's missions, functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and sources of funding; commonly used budget and/or finance practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, policies, and guides that specifically pertain to Financial Systems. GS-09 - To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Generating automated reimbursement reports for management analysis; reviewing financial documentation to verify accuracy; and processing payment of funds utilizing financial management systems for release to financial institution/battalion. For this position you may qualify if your education meets the definition below: GS-07 - 1 full year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement (Must provide Transcripts). GS-09 - Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related (Must provide Transcripts). FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
